How To Write A Press Release

Press release is an effective tool.If written properly, it can yield best results in the form of online traffic, brand awareness, and spreading the word.





1)Actual News : It would great if you offer some authentic news to readers. This would build in their credibility towards your brand.

2) Important First: It is always beneficial to focus on your the message within headline, summary and first two paragraph. An online reader scan text and wants to read the summary in first instance before moving ahead. This would increase the usability of your press release. This would also help search engine to index your press release.

3) Write a compelling headline of around 20 words. Make them search engine friendly and straightforward so that both users and search engines can understand them.

4) Link: If possible you can provide link of your website or link any other important keyword with your press release.

5)  Photos / Videos / Multimedia: There are some attributes which are present in paid press release distribution site. If you own the right to publish a paid press release, don’t forget to add photos/ videos and multimedia into your site.

6 )  Logo : For brand recognition , it is important to have your logo in the press release.
 
7 ) Contact Information : Last but not the least inlcude contact information, updated with phone numbers and email address so that a prospective client or a query could be answered.
