Western Digital, famous for storage devices, announced to launch next generation My Passport Line of Portable Hard Drives in India. Western Digital offers consumers a fresh new design and first -ever 2TB capacity in a portable drive. Facebook Hires MNNIT'ee for Rs1.35 Crores

When Facebook does something, it hardly takes time to become news and this time it happens again, when an engineering student of Motilal Nehru National Technology Institute is hired at an annual package of Rs 1.35 crores package.

According to P Chakravarti, Director of the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), a B.Tech student from the institute, who has requested that his name be withheld for "security reasons", received a letter on March 27 from Facebook confirming his appointment and the annual pay package on offer was stated to be USD 262,500.

Facebook Condemns Those Requesting Passwords of Interviewees, Employees

With the increasing trends of Facebook, most of the people update their status regularly. No one would have thought the companies would actually peep into your Facebook account before hiring people. According to report, increasing number of employees are asking Facebook to unveil passwords of such accounts
"This practice undermines the privacy expectations and the security of both the user and the user's friends," Facebook's chief privacy officer, Erin Egan wrote in a blog post. "It also potentially exposes the employer who seeks this access to unanticipated legal liability." Facebook has condemn the practice as violation of privacy.
The practice has also been criticized by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) which learned of it earlier this month when news surfaced that the Maryland Department of Corrections (DOC) was using "shoulder surfing" to screen candidates.
